History of the VQHA Queen

With the help of members, a list of the VQHA Queens is being proudly displayed as history to this site. As you view our past queens, please note that some years and names are missing and our earliest year was 1973.

If anyone can provide additional information for this list, please let me know. At the close of this year, I plan to establish a perpetual trophy listing all queens and this will be given to the incoming Queen for her to enjoy during her reigning year; and she will pass it on with the name listed of the next lady to take the crown.

Your help is appreciated with this task to maintain a history for the enjoyment of our association.

Hi! My name was Kathleen Gill and I was the VQHA queen in 1982. I was 24 years old and from Fairfax, VA. I showed quarter horses from 1977-1983. In 1980 I was VQHA All-Around Amateur and Reserve in 1981. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me. Thanks.
