The purpose of the Virginia Quarter Horse Association is to develop positive participation in Quarter Horse activities within Virginia in cooperation with the American Quarter Horse Association. Our goal is to promote and stimulate the sale, breeding, exhibition and ownership of the Quarter Horse.

Above all, the Virginia Quarter Horse Association will encourage sportsmanship and family values in all activities, insisting on the humane and dignified treatment of the American Quarter Horse by owners, trainers and exhibitors.

How to win a Gore Trailer for a Year!

This White Aluminum Thoroughbred Two Horse Trailer with Dressing Room was graciously donated for a one year lease by Gore Trailers.

  • Year End Champion award winners of each AQHA classes offered at approved VQHA shows as well as the VQHA year end Champion in the AQHA Trail Riding events are eligible.
  • For each Champion award received, the owner's name will be placed into the drawing. The more Championships received the better the chance to win!
  • Owner of the horse must be a member of VQHA.
  • Points will be counted when owner of horse becomes a member; no retroactive points will be awarded.
  • Points tabulated are in accordance with year-end VQHA awards.
  • Drawing will be held at the VQHA Annual Awards banquet, generally held in early February of each year.
  • Winner must be present to win. No substitutes are accepted.
  • If winner is age 19 or under, winner's legal guardian(s) must be present to sign all necessary documents.
