Anyone Can Nominate A Stallion • Easier For more Owners to Participate


 

NEW – STALLION NOMINATION FEES

*One foal Showing by a stallion = $100

**Two foals Showing by a Stallion = $200

***Three or More foals Showing by a Stallion = $300

Stallion Nomination fees may be paid by someone other than the stallion owner.

Foal, Owner and Exhibitor Eligibility – offspring foaled in Virginia, owned by a Virginia resident, and shown by a resident of Virginia. 

Stallion Eligibility – any stallion registered with the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) or Jockey Club (JC) that is nominated into the Virginia Bred Program. The stallion can be deceased.  Stallion nominations must be renewed every year.  Offspring of any age is eligible to show in VBP classes once the stallion is nominated. 

The VQHA Virginia Bred Futurity will be held with the End of Summer Showdown, September 8 – 10, 2017 at HITS Commonwealth Park, Culpeper, VA.
