Edward “Skeeter” Hembry ( 10/3/1939-11/4/2021) was inducted into the Virginia Livestock Hall Of Fame earlier this month. He was nominated by the Virginia Horse Council for his contribution to the equine industry. Mr. Hembry was a life-long member of AQHA and judged Quarter Horses throughout the United States and Canada for 25 years.
The purpose of this award is to bestow honor and recognition to Virginians who have made outstanding contributions to the State’s livestock industries and its people.
