It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Gene Montgomery (Forest, Virginia), born in Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Robert Gene Montgomery.

He was predeceased by : his son Robert Gene Montgomery, Jr.; his brother William Montgomery; his parents, William Montgomery and Frances Wells Montgomery. He is survived by : his wife Alice Martin Montgomery; his daughter Suzanne Martin Montgomery of Lynchburg; his granddaughters, Mary Alice Montgomery and Megan Montgomery Powell (Darrel); his daughter-in-law Mary Montgomery; his sister-in-law Debbie Montgomery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Seven Hills Hospice 2250 Murrell Rd # 2, Lynchburg, VA 24501.

Frieda Norton, long time announcer at the VQHA shows and long time friend, passed away November 23, 2019, from complications with diabetes. She will missed terribly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
