VQHYA youth members will soon go to one of the biggest shows, Youth World! Abagail Lee,
Arielle Boyette, Brody Marshall, Cole Gouthro, and Lindsay Atkins are the five dedicated
horsemen and horsewomen who will show at the AQHYA World Championship Show.
These five will be representing Virginia through showing halter, western pleasure, working
western rail, ranch riding, and trail. The AQHYA World Show is the largest, singular breed show
that is exclusive to the youth. To be able to show each of them had to log barn hours, compete
at various shows throughout Virginia, and work intensely to improve their skills for the entire
year leading up to this! Throughout all of this they proudly represented our state and its values.
While our members are mainly showing in the western, Youth World offers a vast amount of
disciplines with equestrians traveling far and wide to come to one of the biggest shows for the
youth.
For most of our attendees, this will be their first time going to this show. The determination and
commitment shown from our members is extraordinary, their continuous dedication and hardwork has led them to this moment, best of luck to everyone competing! We are so excited
to see all of their results.
