Hi all! I’m Emily, this year’s VQHA Queen. I am currently earning my Associates degree at Germanna Community College with plans to transfer to Virginia Tech to complete my Bachelors degree.
Getting crowned a week before my first official Queening event at The Virginia Maiden/March to Virginia was a whirlwind experience! My first time Queening was wonderful. I met people vital to the Quarter Horse community, met sponsors, and got a feel for what Queening truly is.
Thanks to Carlie, my mom, Callie (my corgi!), and many others, the weekend went smoothly and was full of excitement for what’s to come. I am thrilled to have this opportunity and want to thank everyone who has helped or will help throughout my journey!
