Each year a young horsewoman is chosen to represent the Virginia Quarter Horse Association at equine functions throughout the state, including the VQHA Year-End Awards Banquet and affiliate shows, as well as competing in the of All American Congress Queen’s Contest.
The VQHA Queen serves as an ambassador of the association, encouraging membership in the association, making appearances at state and regional Quarter Horse functions, as well as visiting related open show and breed show associations to raise awareness of the VQHA and the Quarter Horse breed.
This year the Virginia Quarter Horse Association is proud to have Karsyn Green serving as our 2023 VQHA Queen. Karsyn and her family have a long history with the American Quarter Horse and the Virginia Quarter Horse Association. Throughout her reign Karsyn has carried herself with dignity and honor, representing the best of the VQHA.
