Karsyn Green
Hello!
My name is Karsyn Green, and I’ve been elected as your 2023 Virginia Quarter Horse Queen! I graduated from West Point High School in May of 2022 with honor roll and an interest in real estate. I’m now furthering my education at Moseley Real Estate School. My family has been very involved in the American Quarter Horse Association for 4 generations now, however our farm, Angel Crossing Quarter Horse Farm, was established in 1992. Horses are more than just animals to me. Some of the closest bonds I share are with our astonishing breed. I refer to them as my fur babies. I would love to continue to grow and learn everything I can about AQHA, as well as dive deeper into the industry. My grandma won the Virginia Quarter Horse Queen’s horsemanship contest back when she ran for VQHA Queen, therefore this resembles a legacy for my family. It’s more than just a name, it’s about being a role model for all exhibitors through the American Quarter Horse Association. My goal is to make VQHA proud in everything I do this upcoming year. My family has made sure I’ve never gone without, and have supported me through my ongoing show career. It’s an understatement to say I’m blessed to have such a strong family behind me. My mom, Kelly Wayman, is now the Queen Mom as well. It means the world to me to have her standing right beside me while I go throughout this journey. This is an amazing opportunity, and I’m absolutely over the moon about it! I will represent Virginia to the best of my abilities, and make our Virginia Quarter Horse Association proud!
Let’s go VQHA!!
